Because of your generosity we were able to acquire 19 wireless headsets for use in our spring production of Spamalot and beyond. These headsets are the actual mics worn by our actors during the musical and are an absolute necessity for producing a show so the audience can hear the actors. They are prone to damage in the course of the production and require frequent replacement. As with all things in life, the cost has been steadily rising over the years, forcing us to use a larger portion of our budget to purchase these essential items. Your donation has allowed us to allocate those funds to other areas of the production like costumes and props.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, we were able to purchase microphones in four different skin tones. Our actors are super excited to be able to wear a mic that blends with their own skin tone. These have been out of our price range in recent years, as unfortunately shades other than tan tend to be more expensive. We were also able to purchase a higher quality mic that we hope will be more durable and provide a better listening experience for our audience. \r\n\r\nWe sincerely appreciate your support of students in the arts.
