Because of your support, my students now have a dedicated and comfortable space to participate in movement, mindfulness, and relaxation activities. During our club meetings, students use the mats for guided stretches, beginner yoga poses, and breathing exercises. One of my favorite moments has been watching students fully engage in a calming routine, leaving the session more focused and relaxed than when they arrived.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the yoga mats, they were so excited and eager to begin. Many of them had never experienced yoga before, so having their own mat made the experience feel special and important. It has been amazing to see students grow more confident, not only in trying new poses, but also in learning how to manage stress and take care of their bodies.\r\n\r\nAs we continue, we plan to build on these skills by introducing new yoga sequences, mindfulness practices, and opportunities for students to lead activities. This yoga club is becoming a positive outlet where students can build healthy habits that support both their physical and emotional well-being. Your kindness has truly made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful.","fullyFundedDate":1769192067843,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-wellness-one-mat-at-a-time/9960424/","projectTitle":"Supporting Wellness One Mat at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Blane","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7629452_orig.jpg?crop=1728,1728,x0,y259&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767812092637","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7629452"},{"teacherId":1280093,"projectId":10009927,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation of dry erase markers, dry erase boards, and laminating pouches. These supplies have made a meaningful difference in our classrooms and are used by students every day to support learning and engagement.\r\nStudents use the dry erase boards and markers during lessons to practice solving math problems, writing answers, brainstorming ideas, and participating in quick response activities. Because each student has a board, everyone can actively participate rather than waiting for a turn at the board. This allows teachers to quickly check for understanding and provide immediate feedback. The laminating pouches have also been extremely helpful in creating durable learning materials that can be reused throughout the year. Teachers laminate practice sheets, vocabulary cards, and activity pages so students can write on them with dry erase markers and use them again and again. This not only saves paper but also allows students to practice skills multiple times in a hands-on way. These supplies help create an interactive classroom where students feel comfortable trying new ideas, practicing skills, and learning from their mistakes. Your support helps us provide engaging learning opportunities that benefit every student. Thank you for helping make our classrooms more interactive and effective learning environments.","fullyFundedDate":1769177062037,"projectUrl":"project/from-supplies-to-success/10009927/","projectTitle":"From Supplies to Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tindall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1280093_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1592970346827","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mtindall08"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6291","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":534,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":42,"percentWhite":38,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.2,"schoolId":6291,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about East Aiken School of the Arts on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"East Aiken School of the Arts","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/aiken-county-school-district/east-aiken-elementary-school/6291"}
