Your generosity has given our students the opportunity to learn and experience a sport that many of them may have never played before. When the equipment arrived, our students were excited to see the new lacrosse sticks, balls, and other materials and could not wait to get outside and try them. Seeing students learn how to cradle, pass, catch, and work together while building confidence and having fun has been an amazing experience.\r\n\r\nThis new equipment will have an impact far beyond one unit. We will be using the lacrosse equipment in upcoming units throughout the school year, giving students multiple opportunities to practice their skills, participate in game play, and build teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship. As we continue through the school year, students will be able to revisit and improve their lacrosse skills while applying what they have learned in different activities and game situations. Thank you again for investing in our students and helping us provide meaningful, hands-on physical education experiences.
