We are using the chairbacks for organizing our pencils, colored pencils, markers as well as Math and Reading workbooks. Students are feeling very happy knowing they can find their materials and get started on classwork without having to search all over the classroom.\r\n My students were so excited to see the chairbacks! They took ownership of them right away and felt very comfortable using and caring for the them on a daily basis. Each day the students feel a sense of comfort knowing their materials are safe and in a place in the classroom they can find and access for learning.\r\n Our class is currently learning about adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers during our math time. They are drawing place value charts, storing useful math tools in their chairbacks and easily getting their Math workbooks for work time. After recording information in their workbooks, they have time to share their work with partners and the whole group. We will continue learning about adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers for the next few weeks. The students are so excited for this time to explore and learn more math strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems!","fullyFundedDate":1757546094577,"projectUrl":"project/easy-access-to-learning/9596355/","projectTitle":"Easy Access to Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Marlia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1638717_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1531496410642","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1638717"},{"teacherId":7384033,"projectId":9104746,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the gift of hands-on science learning! The students couldn't believe their eyes when they realized they would be building the models of different elements of our world themselves. \r\n\r\nOnce we began, it quickly began challenging to track the correct number of atoms and bonds - like a puzzle! some of them exclaimed. I loved modeling and building alongside the students. Because of you, our 3rd grade learning space has transformed into a more comfortable, engaging, and joyful 4th grade environment — and we are truly grateful.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when the headphones arrived — they literally ooed and awed about how comfortable they are to use! It's made such a difference in helping them focus during independent work time. The new board games have brought a fun and positive energy to our soft start routines (the Bop-It is a crowd favorite!) and our classroom carpet is now the coziest spot for diving into a new book.\r\n\r\nOn a personal note, I've loved being able to conference with students at my standing desk — it gives us the flexibility and connection we need to make those moments meaningful. The squishy seats have been perfect for helping students with the wiggles, and the new pencils and pencil grips have turned writing into something they genuinely look forward to! Our next task will be more flexible seating for our classroom - maybe a couch for our reading nook? The possibilities are endless, and we are buzzing with excitement.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has brought so many small joys and big improvements to our classroom.
