Because of your donation, my TK students were able to engage with a new, sturdy dollhouse that became a key tool in our classroom. From the first day they saw it, the excitement was palpable. The students immediately began creating stories, solving conflicts, and processing their emotions through the play scenarios they built. I'll never forget how they took such good care of our new dollhouse. Occasionally some kiddos would let their excitement get the best of them and they'd slide the furniture from the roof or begin banging pieces together. It didn't take long for another kiddo to remind them that we all needed to take care so we didn't break anything. It was a beautiful example of how children can support their peers.\r\n\r\nThe new dollhouse not only provided a backdrop for imaginative play, but it also fostered emotional growth. By acting out real-life situations like conflicts at dinner or feelings of fear, my students learned valuable coping skills that they could apply in their daily lives. The project truly opened a space for them to express themselves, share solutions, and practice empathy. Looking ahead, my students will continue to use the dollhouse in group play, where they will further develop social-emotional skills that will benefit them for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. Your support has had a lasting impact on my students, and I am so grateful for your belief in the power of play and emotional growth.","fullyFundedDate":1746787311313,"projectUrl":"project/drama-in-the-dollhouse/9176854/","projectTitle":"Drama in the Dollhouse","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Buchele","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9025067_orig.jpg?crop=2404,2404,x0,y248&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1683476017963","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9025067"},{"teacherId":9025053,"projectId":9183076,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous donations to my DonorsChoose project this year.
