Students will write their letters, count their entries, and record their drawings all-in-one place! With distance learning, it can be difficult for students to keep all their classwork and drawings on scratch paper together. I have observed that loose pages charting student progress are misplaced with time, and that not all students have the materials to write and draw with us readily available. These journals will allow students to assemble their work all-in-one creative space, and the dot painters and glitter glue painters will encourage them to express their creativity while forming their letters, or while drawing pictures to support math instruction. These inclusive supplies also will ensure equal access to materials, so all students may complete small-group activities and large-group games with their classmates. Students will celebrate one another’s work and progress over time by sharing their journal entries with classmates daily. In effect, students will see themselves as valued members of our team and feel empowered to share their uniquely creative responses with classmates. Please help me give my students the materials they need to enjoy distance learning. These supplies will certainly help all my students "Draw and Write as a Team!"
