You helped to create an calm and organized spaces in our classroom and gave my students the tools they need to succeed! \r\nThe students love using their mailboxes - and I love how it helps them stay organized. Students use the mailboxes each morning to get any hand outs and to keep their papers they are working on safe. Students also enjoy getting to deliver the class mail to the mailboxes. The paper organizer helps all of my classes stay organized when they turn their work in. Students are in a routine to turn in their assignments to the same place each time - our new organizer! Building routines helps students to feel confident and safe. The light covers have helped create a sense of calm in the classroom by making the light soft and filtered. Everyone benefits from a calm space - helping them to be ready to learn, and do their best.\r\nSo many students have been using the whisper phones in science already. Whether they are taking a test, or are reading for pleasure, the whisper phones are already coming in handy! These whisper phones give students the opportunity to read aloud to themselves, without interrupting their neighbors!\r\nThank you again so much for your generosity to our classroom. Having individual books allowed students to fully engage with the text, annotate their thinking, and build a personal connection with the story in a way that simply wouldn't have been possible otherwise.\r\n\r\nAfter reading the novel, students explored the power of figurative language, including similes, metaphors, and imagery. They were especially inspired by the main character's journey as a writer, which helped even my most hesitant students feel more confident expressing themselves. Using what they learned, each student created their own original poetry book. Watching them take pride in their writing, share their voices, and grow as readers and writers was incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just provide books—it sparked creativity, confidence, and a love of poetry in our classroom.
