The young men & women in our classroom were ecstatic when they realized cooking was going to be something they'd get to do at school. \r\n\r\nOur classroom appreciates everything they have received. Just the other day the students enjoyed grilled cheese sandwiches that they made themselves in the toaster. After eating they learned how to wash and dry their plates in the wash basin. Student's also got a chance to make Jell-O using measuring cups before spring break. \r\n\r\nThe students have a few things they haven't yet gotten a chance to make but I know they will enjoy learning how just as much as they have enjoyed everything else. To some these things may seem simple but room 13 is learning valuable skills that will last far beyond a simple task, lesson or even classroom. They are learning to not only get along with their peers & follow directions, they are learning how to take care of their needs. These are lessons that will be with them for the rest of their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1738688723303,"projectUrl":"project/im-hungry-lets-cook/9089288/","projectTitle":"I'm Hungry!
