The third graders went absolutely crazy when we revealed the new books for them to read! Of course we couldn't say to no to kids asking for books! \r\n\r\nOne of the greatest impacts that this projects has had on our third graders is that they are excited to read, but something even greater happened without anyone even planning it! The students asked if they could have a classroom space to write down any fun facts that they learned while reading these books and then share these fun facts out at the end of each week. This has been a new highlight in our weekly schedule and something we all look forward to each Friday! \r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity and willingness to help get these books into the hands of students, you have not only opened a world of reading to them, but they have become researchers and are genuinely excited to share what they are learning.
