So far this school year, all of my 7th graders have used the Posca paint markers and Prismacolor colored pencils to create their own graffiti name designs on \"brick walls.\" Their finished pieces looked like authentic graffiti art!\r\n\r\nWe studied the graffiti movement that began with teenagers in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and my students connected deeply with the energy and creativity of that era. When I first introduced the materials, their eyes lit up! They were so excited to use real, professional grade art supplies. It's truly amazing what students can do when given sophisticated tools to express themselves.\r\n\r\nEvery one of my 7th graders (about 150 students) has treated the materials with care and pride.
