Each morning, my students are genuinely excited to come to school and begin their day building and creating. These materials spark their creativity and allow them to take pride in what they design — they often can't wait to show me and their classmates what they made.\r\nStarting the day with hands-on, sensory-based learning has also proven to be very beneficial for their emotional regulation. The tactile and exploratory nature of the STEM toys helps calm their nervous systems, which in turn sets a positive tone for the rest of the day. Because of this, students are more focused and ready to participate in academic lessons with confidence and engagement.\r\nI am so grateful to the Charles Schwab Foundation!
