These are the calculators that the students are using in their main math classroom. The students are familiar with these calculators. I just wish some students would have put them back where they got them, as 13 calculators are now missing. There are times that I have 8 students and only 7 left. Most the students are disappointed with the missing calculators. They are happy to at least have 7 that they watch over carefully.\r\n\r\nI do feel blessed to have the calculators that I do have and pray that the missing 3 will reappear. When I gave them the good news students began reaching out to friends and letting them know the resources were available. I had a lot of students who needed supplies come in and not only vent and have someone to talk to, but they were also able to walk out of my office with an item they needed. \r\nThe next steps have been developing a pantry for our students for food hygiene and school supplies.
