We have a tradition of gathering together for an \"unboxing\" whenever a parcel comes in, but this one was the greatest of all. My students could hardly wait to pull each book out of the box, and their joy and curiosity filled the room.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an active and joyful experience. We use books to practice sequencing, making predictions, and connecting illustrations to text. With these new texts, my students are gaining the skills and confidence to think deeply and talk about what they read.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been a true gift. Students who struggle with reading difficulties now know they can enjoy the love of reading without the frustration. They can listen, follow along, and join in class discussions with excitement.\r\n\r\nThe scissors have also made a big difference. My students use them for hands-on activities, cutting and gluing to sequence events in stories and make learning come alive.\r\n\r\nThis project has brought new energy into our classroom. It has given my students tools that build independence, joy, and confidence in their reading.
