All of our ESL students greatly appreciate the new books, but particularly the newcomers. They have really loved seeing their native language represented in text. \r\n\r\nOur fifth graders, who arrived here last year, love the option to read in their home language and really have enjoyed the Rising Esperanza copy in Spanish. We also had been working on a Hispanic Heroes project and made use of the bilingual book about famous Hispanic Americans that was purchased. Our second and third graders really like the bilingual nonfiction young readers, especially the ones about ponies and sharks. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your donation, and thank you for all you do for our students.
