Because of your generosity, I was able to purchase engaging visual and interactive resources to support our learning.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite experiences was using visuals to accompany the story The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. The visuals helped bring the story to life by showing key vocabulary such as snow, footprints, snowball, tracks, and melting. As we read, students eagerly matched pictures to the story, acted out Peter's movements, and used the visuals to describe what was happening. These hands-on supports helped all students—especially those learning English—better understand the story and confidently use new words during discussions.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was contagious as students made connections to their own experiences with snow and shared their thoughts using the new vocabulary they had learned. The visuals encouraged participation, boosted comprehension, and helped students feel successful expressing their ideas.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is a more engaging, language-rich environment where every child feels supported and excited to learn.
