Our students have benefited greatly from your generosity. The ONO hand rollers have become a classroom favorite. Each student is able to use one to decompress during academic instruction time. Even I have considered buying myself one to join the craze. Another huge impact has been the giant bean bag that has helped transform our traditional seating set up into a lounge atmosphere where students feel relaxed as they work. My personal favorite were the timers that have aided in keeping students focused on their tasks and complete them in the expected time frame. Every teacher could benefit from a giant red timer! \r\n\r\nThe students have also learned a ton about graphing through playing battleship. However, the overall favorite was the Lego set we used in our geometry lesson on following step by step instructions. This project has led me to consider more Lego projects to come. \r\n\r\nThe students were in utter disbelief when they realized we were fully funded, and what that meant for our classroom. One student said it felt \"more like Christmas than Christmas\". I hope that warms your heart like it did mine. This means that my students are now able to engage fully with biological principles through laboratory investigations with the comfort of knowing that there is a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, fire blanket, spill kit, eyewash station, and acid cleanup kit. My students are quite excited to know that they will be able to engage in more intensive labs due to the presence of safety equipment in our space. \r\n\r\nPrior to your donation, laboratory investigations had to be modified/simplified to exclude riskier components for which there were no remediation equipment available.
