I love that there are so many choices and every student can find a tool that meets their needs from things to squish, spin, look at, build, and use to take deep breaths.\r\n\r\nNot only do my students enjoy visiting the calm down zone to help them regulate their emotions and bodies, but they have also enjoyed using the materials during free choice time. We have had our charging cart for just about a week now and wow is it so helpful! Each student device gets a slot in the cart and the cords are able to be sent through little holders so they don't get tangled up. My kids have quickly adapted to the change in the routine and have been working to get, and put away, their chromebooks quickly. They also really love the cart and I can't wait for them to be leaders in helping to make sure the cart is taken care of.\r\n\r\nWe are beyond thankful for your generosity and continued support of our classroom. The wobble stools have been a great addition to our classroom and have helped my students when they need a place to sit that allows them to move a little and get their \"wiggles\" out. The students take turns using the stools around the room and everyone wants the chance to use them. In addition to the wobble stools, the students love the two comfy floor seats that we got. They are a number one choice for independent reading, and the students love when it is their turn to kick back and relax while they read. \r\n\r\nIn addition to the flexible seating, the students have been getting creative with the marble run and building blocks set. Whenever they have free time or inside recess, they get those two items out first and start creating.
