These days, it is harder and harder for families to afford supplies to bring to supplies to start the year. I love that I have these supplies readily available in my classroom for all students to use. \r\nTwistable crayons have been a life saver for me. I am able to teach the kids how to use them correctly so that they will last for the year. The kids love that there are different colors and that they are different from the traditional crayons. I love that I don't have to deal with the crayons breaking all the time and crayon wrappers all over our classroom. \r\nPencils are always a huge help. It never seems to matter how many pencils I have we seem to go through them all each year.\r\nFinally, my blue take home folders are my favorite. I love that I can put things in the front of the folder and the back pockets and that I can clearly see whose it is. These make it clear for the families if there are papers that need to be signed and returned to school the following day. My students are so good at bringing these back daily! Thanks again for your generosity to help my students be successful and have a positive start to their education.\r\nMahalo Nui Loa,","fullyFundedDate":1743187058227,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-to-start-the-year/9154987/","projectTitle":"Supplies to Start the Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hammock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1027269_orig.jpg?crop=1875,1875,x177,y478&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1594000281130","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jennifer-matthews"},{"teacherId":1027269,"projectId":9299320,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping me get water bottles for my students use in our classroom. This reduces the chance for arguments; messes, and the students are able to get their drink right away and get to the carpet ready to learn. \r\nThe kids love that I put their names on them and when they earn stickers, they can add them to their water bottle. These writing tools and scissors have been so helpful to those students who are struggling with cutting or learning how to hold a pencil correctly to write. \r\nThe rocket pencils and claw grips are amazing especially at the beginning of the school year to help the kids with their grip until they are able to do it on their own.
