In Kindergarten we are using the glue sticks, folders and whiteboards all on day one! The kids were excited to get to school and use these new and exciting supplies. We are still working on how to use glue sticks correctly. They are getting better already. The folders are a lifesaver, I have been using this type of folders for the last 5 years and I absolutely love them. All the kids have the exact one, I can slide important papers on the side to return to school, and I love that the folder has clear pockets on both the front and the back.\r\nFor the first 26 six days of school, we have and art project to match every letter of the alphabet, so the kids are using glue sticks every day! These whiteboards are great for kids who are still learning how to put pressure when writing. The twistable crayons are new to many of my students, so they are very excited to use them. \r\nThe whiteboard pens are fabulous because I have many students who are still working on their fine motor skills and when using a pencil don't have the pressure to really see what they are writing but when using the whiteboard pens it is much easier to write even if they only put a little pressure. The pencils will come in handy throughout the year. I have no idea how, but we go through so many pencils each year. These days, it is harder and harder for families to afford supplies to bring to supplies to start the year. I love that I have these supplies readily available in my classroom for all students to use. \r\nTwistable crayons have been a life saver for me. I am able to teach the kids how to use them correctly so that they will last for the year. The kids love that there are different colors and that they are different from the traditional crayons. I love that I don't have to deal with the crayons breaking all the time and crayon wrappers all over our classroom. \r\nPencils are always a huge help. It never seems to matter how many pencils I have we seem to go through them all each year.\r\nFinally, my blue take home folders are my favorite. I love that I can put things in the front of the folder and the back pockets and that I can clearly see whose it is.
