My students absolutely love both the calming koalas and the weighted blanket butterfly! \r\n\r\nWe can easily give them either item when they are overstimulated and they use them to help calm themselves. The koala helps them regulate their breathing, and has a few different settings that use different breathing techniques, so they get to pick which one they need most at that particular moment. The weighted butterfly offers them comfort and gives them a sense of being held, which autistic kids need even though they often struggle with human contact.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for helping our class!
