It is making such an impact in my students' lives. We are still in the middle of reading the book, but I am reading their journals and listening to their conversations and the message in the book is definitely resonating with them. So many of them have asked great questions and started to really think about their relationships and how they can improve them. Many of the other teachers in the building have also commented on how some of the students have been talking about the book and how it has helped them be more present and grounded.","fullyFundedDate":1755687536116,"projectUrl":"project/one-book-for-a-lifetime-of-mental-freedo/9577693/","projectTitle":"One Book for a Lifetime of Mental Freedom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. DiProperzio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8799722"},{"teacherId":9886509,"projectId":9325134,"letterContent":"The new bass and cello stands have completely transformed our classroom! Before, our instruments were stacked awkwardly against the wall or lying on the floor, which made the room feel cramped and chaotic. Now, each instrument has a proper home, and the space is much more organized and welcoming. One specific moment that stood out was during our first rehearsal after setting up the stands—students were able to move freely, set up quickly, and focus more on the music rather than navigating a cluttered room. It's made rehearsals smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.\r\n\r\nTheir faces lit up when they walked in and saw the stands set up for the first time! A few of them even said, \"The room looks so much bigger now!\" They were excited to have a more professional and respectful space for their instruments. It was clear that the new organization gave them a sense of pride and ownership in the classroom. One student even joked, \"Can't believe it took a new teacher after all these years to finally make this room look like a classroom\".\r\n\r\nWe are forever appreciative and grateful!
