I've been busy printing resources for students, images to use for their most recent project, and thanks to you, I was able to print the project template itself for all of my students. We are just about to complete our final major grade of this 9 weeks where students design a Time Magazine cover analyzing the 94 Rwandan Genocide with the ongoing crisis in Darfur as part of our Sub Saharan Africa unit. Students engagement has been off the chart compared to past projects, and I know having the images available, as well as the option to print on demand if and when a student finds one they need or wants an image smaller or larger, plays a huge role in that. The resources from this printer may well be the difference between some students passing and failing the class for the semester, so please know that your gift has made a huge impact in the lives of these students.\r\n\r\nThank you, thank you again, from myself and all of my students, for your generous gift to our classroom,","fullyFundedDate":1739992623074,"projectUrl":"project/world-geography-class-needs-a-printer/8991389/","projectTitle":"World Geography Class Needs a Printer","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Erb","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9853865_orig.jpg?crop=398,398,x0,y21&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733410831713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9853865"},{"teacherId":9853865,"projectId":8984990,"letterContent":"Thank you so much once again for your generous supply donation to our world geography classroom. Every item on the list has already been an enormous help, and I've seen my students put more effort into their recent projects with the articles which were sent. The Cricut has allowed me to make some layered art for our upcoming religion unit as well as some topographic maps. The rulers, markers, highlighters, and other such supplies have been instrumental in promoting student engagement with our most recent project designing a Time Magazine cover comparing and contrasting the 94 Rwandan Genocide with the ongoing crisis in Darfur. It was great to see them layering concepts in their artwork on the covers, which was made possible with the wealth of options they now have available to them, including the highlighters which make their covers blacklight reflective, hence the light strips being another welcome addition to our classroom. My white board now has a more organized timeline for students to see upcoming assignments thanks to the neon tape, and I know the students feel a lot more pride in their work now that they have the resources to fully express their vision.\r\n\r\nThank you, thank you again, from myself and all of my students, for your generous gift to our classroom,","fullyFundedDate":1739371110991,"projectUrl":"project/title-one-world-geography-classroom-look/8984990/","projectTitle":"Title One World Geography Classroom Looking for Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Erb","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9853865_orig.jpg?crop=398,398,x0,y21&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733410831713","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9853865"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8939","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":3239,"numTeachers":207,"percentFrplEligible":63,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":29,"percentWhite":16,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":41,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":8939,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cypress Creek High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Cypress Creek High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/cypress-fairbanks-independent-school-district/cypress-creek-high-school/8939"}
