This class is an exploratory class where students get exposed to all kinds of projects. I wrote this grant to expand and expose my students to even more project types. This grant allowed my students to build and work with 4 other areas that were not previously part of my class. These new projects included electronic board programming, hydroBot assembly, solar bot assembly, and mechanical coding bot assembly. All 4 kits allowed students to build, code, and then use the bot or board. These kits were challenging, frustrating at times but overall an awesome new experience for my students. Students were challenged by the detailed assembly directions, frustrated when they couldn't find the right part at first, but then were highly rewarded with a working circuit board or moving bot in the end. My students reflected on the process and the majority of them found this to be a cool, meaningful addition to my class.
