The new books have given my students more opportunities to explore new stories, build their reading skills, and develop a love of reading. Our comfy floor cushions and bumpy/wiggle seats have also created flexible seating options that help students feel comfortable and ready to learn. Even the classroom essentials, like tape and the floor sweeper, have made a difference in keeping our classroom organized, clean, and ready for learning each day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were so excited to explore everything! They especially loved seeing the new books and getting to choose a comfortable spot to read. One of my favorite moments has been watching students settle into our reading area with a book and a cushion, completely engaged in their own story. These resources are helping us create a classroom where students feel excited, comfortable, and confident as learners.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, my students will be using these materials every day during independent reading, small-group instruction, and classroom activities. We are working on becoming stronger, more independent readers and learners, and these resources give us the tools and flexibility to make that happen.
