Many of them immediately started flipping through the pages, pointing out recipes, nutrition facts, and tips that connected to their own lives. It was amazing to see them excited about learning from a book rather than just seeing it as \"schoolwork.\"\r\n\r\nOne of our first projects using the books was creating balanced meal plans. Students worked in small groups to research nutrients, compare food choices, and design a day's worth of meals that met healthy guidelines. They loved being able to use real information from the books and were proud to share their meal plans with the class. One student even said, \"This feels like planning for my real life!\"\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are developing the knowledge and confidence to make healthier choices for themselves and their families. The next step in our lessons will be exploring how nutrition impacts long-term health.
