The looks on their faces when they saw the supplies being unboxed were priceless! There was an abundance to choose from, and what I saw unfolding from start to finish was truly the highlight of my 5 years of teaching! The creativity in planning was great to watch, as they worked in groups and were able to discuss and come up with the type of Stop Motion video they wanted to produce. Some examples were a basketball court with legos and a play-doh basketball, a wedding with pompoms (all dolled up), a flower pot with seeds (pompoms), soil (play-doh), sequins for watering, and pipe cleaners for the flower as it grows. This truly brought out their creative genes that they didn't\r\nknow they had! I cannot thank each of you enough for the opportunity for a long but fun project that ignited their brains to create something that they wouldn't have ever done without the help and donations from you! Beyond the scope of the project, these supplies allowed me to get them off of their iPads for typing and get them more excited about moving towards the STEAM aspect of what we teach at our school.
