They immediately began asking questions about the upcoming lab and eagerly explored a frog model to identify organs and structures before the dissection even began. For many students, simply seeing the materials made the lesson feel more real and exciting. They could not wait to begin working like scientists.\r\n\r\nThese resources are already making a meaningful impact in our classroom. The frogs allow students to make hands-on discoveries while strengthening their understanding of comparative anatomy. The gloves and aprons help every student feel safe and comfortable, giving all learners the confidence to fully participate in the lab experience.\r\n\r\nThe dissection pins help students work carefully and precisely, reinforcing important lab techniques and attention to detail. The frog model has become an especially valuable tool because it gives students a reusable 3D visual aid to study before and after the dissection. It also provides an inclusive option for students who may not want to participate in the actual dissection but still want a meaningful hands-on learning experience.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue comparing body systems across different organisms and discussing how structure relates to function. Many were amazed that they could choose their own seating and find places where they felt most comfortable and productive. Students with ADHD, ADD, and sensory needs immediately gravitated toward the wobble stools and cushions, expressing that they felt calmer, more focused, and more ready to learn. This setup has given them permission to learn in ways that honor their bodies and brains.\r\nWe are now preparing for an investigation on how environmental factors affect plant growth, and the flexible seating will again play a key role. Students will be able to move between indoor stations, collaborative groups, and our outdoor garden plots with ease, using their clipboards to collect data and sketch observations.
