By being able to use these burners in their classroom they are becoming more confident in how to use gas burners in their future culinary endeavors. \r\nI first realized this was something I need do students when I brought a group of students to visit a culinary program. The students were used to using my induction stove tops in my classroom and many of them were intimidated by the gas stove tops in the commercial kitchen space. Multiple students told me they were scared to cook on the gas stoves provided so I knew I needed to give students the experience of cooking on an open flame to build their confidence.
