Helping to bring the outside world into lessons, helps students to make connections and continue to be life long learners. \r\n\r\nIn special education resource, reading is done in groups of three or four. The students can look at the pictures and ask questions in a safe environment. If they feel comfortable, they can even try reading the books themselves and look to other students for support. \r\n\r\nOur school is free and reduced lunches. Some of these students don't have books at home and relish the time they have to enjoy these books.
