Not only was I excited to find out my project was funded, but my students were excited as well. \r\n\r\nAs soon as boxes started arriving, I would open the boxes in front of students and show what goods had been gifted to us! I let them know that the permanent markers were for all our projects, moving forward. Their first project was \"My Name in Fractions.\" Then, my fourth graders used the permanent markers for a group project when creating visuals for newspapers that followed the effects of WWII on California. \r\n\r\nMy plans moving forward is for both my fourth and fifth graders to use the markers on projects.
