It has given our students a fun, screen-free way to independently engage with stories, songs, and language throughout the school day. \r\n One of the things the students find most exciting is choosing the Tonie character they want to listen to and placing it on the Toniebox themselves. They quickly learned how it works, and they love having the independence to make their own selection. Our students have been learning to follow directions, work together, and build the mail slots and a new area in our classroom where they can practice more office job skills. They are excited to have a space where they can learn and practice different jobs that will help them in the future. Sorting mail for teachers and staff has been one of their favorite jobs so far. They love knowing that they are doing something that helps our school.\r\n\r\nThe sensory materials have also been a big help for our students. During some recent fire drills, our students were able to use the noise-canceling headphones and fidget toys to help them stay calm and remain with the group. Our chew necklaces have also helped students who like to chew by giving them something safe to use. Seeing our students use these tools when they need them has been really special because they are learning what helps them feel calm and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWe are excited to keep working on these skills and give our students more chances to practice real jobs around the school. Thank you for helping us give our students the tools they need to learn, grow, and become more independent. Many of our students rely on school-issued devices to access learning platforms, complete assignments, and participate in interactive activities. Before the donation, limited access to charging stations often disrupted learning and caused unnecessary stress.\r\nNow, with chargers readily available, students can stay connected throughout the day. This has especially helped during vocabulary games, listening exercises, and digital quizzes where uninterrupted access is essential. The most exciting part for students is the freedom to use their devices without worrying about battery life. it's a small change that has made a big difference.\r\nThe chargers have helped level the playing field, ensuring that all students can fully engage in our lessons.\r\nWe're incredibly grateful for this support.
