Our science lab looks better than ever, and the students have really enjoyed exploring the posters. This science lab serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade, and covers an abundance of topics.\r\n\r\nOur kindergarteners have really enjoyed the various life-cycle posters. The cycle of complete metamorphosis a frog undergoes has been their favorite, with the chicken life cycle as a close second place. \r\n\r\nThe fifth graders have already used the force and motion posters to help guide their thinking. We conducted a lab on force and motion using hot wheels tracks, and the vocabulary and visuals from the poster really helped to enhance their thinking and understanding of these concepts.","fullyFundedDate":1757423208515,"projectUrl":"project/visually-appealing-k-5-science-lab/9677384/","projectTitle":"Visually Appealing K-5 Science Lab","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Peepolson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-nicholson"},{"teacherId":10058452,"projectId":9420114,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for the kindness and generosity you've shown my students. Your donations truly brightened our classroom and brought so much joy to my kids.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, their faces lit up with excitement. They could hardly wait to open everything and explore what was inside. The toys have made recess something they really look forward to. I see them laughing, playing together, and including everyone in new games. The fidgets have been such a big help in our calm corner, especially for students who need a quick break to reset and refocus. They love having a quiet space where they can take a deep breath and then come back ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe treasure box has become one of their favorite parts of the week! It's been amazing to see how motivated they are to work hard and show kindness just for a chance to pick out a small prize. And the snacks... those have made such a difference. Some of my students come to school hungry, and having a quick snack helps them stay focused and comfortable while learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has gone far beyond the items you gave. You've helped create a classroom filled with joy, comfort, and belonging. The children loved interacting with the new and different hands-on materials each morning. The biggest challenge was convincing them that mixing all the Play-Doh never works out well, because it always becomes brown. They enjoyed working together to build elaborate constructions, including \"cars\" and \"trains\" with the bristle blocks. They loved the foam, especially once they realized they could build towers that would stay standing, which does not always work out with Play-Doh! In the last week of summer school, we finally allowed the children to \"mix\" both the Play-Doh and the foam. They loved observing that while the foam did not change colors, becoming \"rainbow,\" the Play-Doh eventually did become a messy brown color.","fullyFundedDate":1743097385063,"projectUrl":"project/school-supplies-for-summer-school-steam/9186852/","projectTitle":"School supplies for summer school STEAM fun","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2385819_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1532732060256","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2385819"},{"teacherId":5623940,"projectId":9012281,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding our project and getting these seat sacks into the hands of my students.
