I actually gave them a challenge where they are partnered up with kids they are not already friends with and they had to work together to figure out how the bird houses go together. They made mistakes but they all stayed positive and supportive and were able to fix it together. When they got to build the next kit I offered that they could work with different kids but they all chose to stay working with their new partners because it was so successful and thwy made new friends. It was so rewarding to see them bond, communicate respectfully and hear each other out on their ideas. It's all aspects of building their leadership skills that they will need everyday for the rest of their lives. We owe it all to you and your generous donation. Thank you so much!!!
