We are using the bingo daubers and construction paper to make a variety of turkeys for Thanksgiving decorations for our homes. We are utilizing our art skills and pattern skills with the feathers on the turkey. The magnetic blocks have increased the classes' creativity and imagination. Also, the class is given opportunities to practice sharing these much-loved resources. The fox-in-the-box resource provides the class with concrete examples of position words.\r\n\r\nThe class was so surprised to get the materials. We had fun opening the boxes together and using the materials right away. They were very excited about the snacks that were provided. It is helpful for me to have those snacks so the class will not go hungry if they forget theirs. The books added to our classroom library have given the students new favorites to read with the teacher.\r\n\r\nI have used the Velcro supplies to make personal schedules for the students who need a visual of how the day will go. Our students put on an amazing performance and had a blast doing it! Thanks to the speakers, we had fantastic sound for the whole show and our audience could hear the students through the whole field. \r\n\r\nI was especially proud of my first graders, I saw their eyes light up when they realized that we were truly having a whole production for their show, they were so proud! The second graders were also amazing, and our soloists made the day. Having quality equipment for these kids makes all the difference, and I am so grateful we were able to give them a show to remember.
