It instantly created a sense of excitement and ownership in the classroom.\r\n\r\nWe now use the teaching table for so many important moments throughout our day. During small-group reading, I gather a handful of students around the table to dive into new stories. Having a dedicated space for guided reading has made such a difference—the students are able to focus better, I can easily see each child's progress, and we can keep all our materials organized and ready to go. Whether we're decoding new words, discussing characters, or practicing reading fluency, the table provides the perfect spot for meaningful, focused learning.\r\n\r\nThe table has also become a favorite place for math centers. Students love working together in small groups, using manipulatives to solve problems and talk through their thinking. It's incredible to watch their collaboration grow—they lean in, share ideas, and support one another in ways that weren't as natural before. The design of the table encourages togetherness, and that sense of community has become one of my favorite parts of our classroom routine.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, the table has provided a wonderful setting for social and emotional learning.
