It has made a difference in my organization with paperwork and soothing for the students to sit on the stay-n-play balls. \r\nThe students are using the stay-n-play flexible seating balls at their desk when they are working on assignments. For example, when we break into small reading groups, students love sitting on the stay-n-play balls when reading our listening to other read. They have expressed that it helps them stay focus and they like being able to bounce on the ball. When they first saw the balls, they were excited because they did not have to sit still while I was teaching in front of the class or working on an assignment independently. \r\n I was very excited that I received the mobile cabinet because it allowed me to be more organized with important paperwork. Not only that, it created more space for me to work with my student one on one. \r\n\r\n The next step is to get more flexible seating for all of my students so they do not have share if there are more than two students want to sit on the balls.","fullyFundedDate":1764798042343,"projectUrl":"project/active-readers/9716752/","projectTitle":"Active Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Davis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10263122_orig.jpg?crop=2033,2033,x0,y237&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757975720767","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10263122"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_75191","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":693,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":23,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":63,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"20.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.8,"schoolId":75191,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Columbia Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Columbia Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/adelanto-elementary-school-district/columbia-middle-school/75191"}
