With your support, I was able to purchase more diverse book. These books were specifically selected to help fifth graders with their US History biographies unit and to grab the attention of students who are just starting to explore chapter books in grades 2 - 4. Both of these areas were parts of the library that were under utilized or outdated.\r\n\r\nIt's always exciting to get new books for the library, but with your gift, I was motivated to do a major reorganization of the chapter books for young readers. The books are now organized into specific baskets or boxes with picture labels to help readers find books that can show them the diverse characters they can discover in the books. Today we had a big unveiling of this new area and it will be open for all our families to enjoy at our Open House tomorrow! This is important because everyone should be able to see themselves represented in the library.\r\n\r\nGifts from Donors Choose make such a hug difference since the school library budget is so tight.
