They appreciate having them in the basket under their desk so that they are easy to access whenever they would like to use them. \r\nWhen we first got them, students were so excited to use them! I planned a lesson using Blooket that required scratch work to solve problems but did not need work to be turned in. EVERY student in class was participating and using the boards, they enjoyed the novelty of them and felt special using something new. \r\nStudents are very protective of the boards, making sure they are always put back safely in the baskets under the desks and stop other students from being rough with them as well. Other students who visit our class who are not my students always notice them right when they walk in and say they are jealous that their class doesn't have them. During the summer we will also practice and once the year starts again we will be ready to compete. This means our athletes are using their hands, wrists, and ankles so often that that they develop strength in places they didn't know possible. The pre wrap protects the skin from the tape we put over it. Most of our athletes use the tape to make sure they don't sustain injuries or swell too much from the constant use. Imagine their faces when they saw boxes of pre wrap and tape. It really is the little things in life for our kids but they were so excited knowing they will have what they need for the season.
