This past year, my students used the whiteboards and dry-erase markers every day for math fluency games, problem-solving activities, and collaborative learning. The tabletop whiteboard was especially helpful for creating anchor charts that I could easily move between small groups. As a special education teacher, I strive to provide my students with as many visual and hands-on learning opportunities as possible, and these resources made a tremendous difference in keeping students engaged and actively participating in math.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first learned that someone had donated these materials for them, they were genuinely surprised. They couldn't believe that someone they had never met cared enough to invest their own time and money in their education. They felt valued, encouraged, and excited to use the new resources. As a first-year teacher, your generosity also lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, knowing I had the tools needed to create meaningful learning experiences for my students.\r\n\r\nNext year, I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade special education math, and these resources will continue to play an important role in my classroom. Students will use the whiteboards to solve problems, explain their thinking, collaborate with classmates, and build confidence in math through active participation rather than simply copying notes. My goal is to create an engaging, hands-on learning environment where every student feels capable of growing as a mathematician, and your generosity is helping make that possible.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their success.
