The students are motivated to write using the new erasable gel pens. Many of them get frustrated with mistakes and this helps ease their anxiety. And I dislike messy work! Some of my students have a very difficult time getting started with their work because of inattention, fear of being wrong... They are more motivated to do their work so that they can have time to use the kinetic sand and earn prizes and snacks during the week. They are excited about being able to earn the squishy animals, the goldfish crackers and the other snacks. The students also enjoy choosing a new pencil throughout the year. I was notified that I had the opportunity to purchase some replacement items and I chose the braille UNO game so we can all play on reward day with our classmate who is visually impaired. At my school, the paper towels do a terrible job at cleaning so the paper towels and the board cleaner will come in handy getting rid of germs as well as keeping the whiteboard looking new. The small composition notebooks are great because many times, we write just a small amount in order to solidify our learning and it is nice to have a smaller page to capture this. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity.
