My students are more engaged, excited to participate, and more confident when solving problems. Being able to touch, move, and use real materials helps them better understand math concepts in a fun and meaningful way. One of my favorite moments was seeing students work together using the manipulatives while explaining their thinking to each other with big smiles on their faces.\r\n\r\nThe privacy boards have also helped students stay focused during independent work and online learning activities. Students feel proud having their own space to concentrate and do their best work. Students are learning to keep track of their work, take care of their materials, and become more responsible each day. Your contribution has had a meaningful and positive impact on our social-emotional learning program and our behavioral support services at Colegio Petite !\r\n\r\nThe therapeutic instruments you donated are being used during social-emotional learning classes, coping skills lessons, and individual sessions in the behavioral office. During coping skills classes, I introduced students to each instrument and taught them how to use these tools to de-escalate, self-regulate, and manage strong emotions. Students are learning that these strategies can help them calm their bodies and minds during moments of stress or emotional difficulty.\r\n\r\nWe have been practicing breathing exercises using our calming koala, and students are also able to use weighted animal to help reduce anxiety, hyperactivity, sadness, and anger. These tools have been especially effective in helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Many students now independently request these items when they recognize they need support, which shows growth in emotional awareness and self-regulation.\r\n\r\nYour donation has truly made a difference in our students' daily experiences. Thank you for providing resources that help our students develop healthy coping skills and emotional regulation strategies.
