The headphones was helpful during the computer one on one activity time, as it helped with listening and individual work space learning time. \r\nThe pencils are used on a daily basis and knowing we have plenty to use which is already sharpened has not only helped the learners to stay engaged in learning but also helped our class cut out the distractions during sharpening and moving around finding a sharpened pencil. \r\nWe read the book \" Have you filled a bucket today\" during our first week in class to build our classroom community of bucket fillers , who compliment and take care of not only their friends but everyone around them. We use the tiny buckets to label our individual buckets. We then write compliments and put in another student bucket for their kindness or special quality . The students were super excited to learn that a community member helped fund their class. We have since used the materials for a few years and it still holds good for the future second graders to come. \nThe donation money helped us get the telling time hands. In second grade there is a whole unit on reading time and most of the students struggle to understand the analog clocks. The hands were thus attached to the clock which helped students visually see how the minute hand moved by 5's. I have noticed students refer to those clock hands every time they are stuck on reading their time in math class. It has definitely helped them with their math class. \nWe genuinely thank you for the donation ","fullyFundedDate":1696360835452,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-corner/7414869/","projectTitle":"Cozy Corner!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. J.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5494471_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1530746192457","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5494471"},{"teacherId":5494471,"projectId":6918926,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donations to our 2nd grade classroom. The supplies that we received through your donations was of great help to the 2nd graders. Being responsible 2nd graders we are trying to not use much paper and so we use the dry erase boards a lot in our class. The markers lasted us for the whole school year and we didn't have to worry anytime that \"we are out of supplies\". So thank you for that!\r\nThe bulk sharpened pencils were the best donations for our second grade class.
