These books have completely transformed how some of our more reluctant readers approach reading time. The visual support in graphic novels has helped build confidence, especially for students who once felt overwhelmed by large blocks of text. Now, those same students are eagerly flipping pages and even recommending titles to friends!\r\n\r\nEvery week, our classroom buzzes with excitement during Flashlight Friday, when students cozy up with their choice books from our library under the soft glow of flashlights. This special reading time fosters independence and a love for reading, and the new books have made it even more magical.\r\n\r\nWith these texts, we've been able to explore a variety of reading skills—like making inferences, understanding character development, and comparing themes across genres. Whether it's a student diving into a fantasy adventure or laughing through a humorous graphic novel, they're learning to think critically, make connections, and most importantly, enjoy reading.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has brought joy, growth, and a true love of books into our classroom.
