The class couldn't wait to figure out which of them would be using them first, and how it would be decided. It is now a part of our morning meeting each day to assign the stool and the cushions, and each kid has been beyond excited when it was their turn to use it. I have already noticed a difference in their focus and effort toward their work when using the seating.\r\n\r\nThank you again for these both fun and impactful additions to our classroom. The seating is already well-loved and well taken care of, and will continue to be. When I showed my students their new indoor recess toys and games, they were so excited and surprised. We discussed how you all chose to support our classroom specifically, and they expressed how lucky they felt that our classroom was chosen.\r\n\r\nThe items arrived the day of a thunderstorm here in our state, so they were able to put them to use right away! It was awesome to see the kids branch off and play with new people, as well as be excited to play with something outside of their typical computer games. I loved seeing them get super creative and collaborative with the more open-ended toy options as well! They also put their problem-solving skills to use when deciding how the new toys would be split up amongst different groups of kids, so that everyone had a chance to play and try out something new. \r\n\r\nWith some potentially very rainy weeks ahead for us as we finish out this school year, I am grateful that my students now have something new and exciting to connect over, should they have to stay inside for recess.
