They couldn't beleive strangers (to them) loved them enough to send things to the classroom. \r\n\r\nSince recieving the items they have been regularly used for what I term \"social recess\" in the classroom. The students have learned new games and have gained SEL skills throughout their time engaing with each other. For many of my students it was the first time they played a board or card game from beginning to end with rules.
