Because of you, my students now have access to high-quality phonics materials that are making a meaningful and lasting impact on their learning each and every day. Your kindness has directly supported early literacy development in my classroom, and I am so grateful for your investment in my students' success.\r\n\r\nThe phonics tools you helped provide — including mini dry erase boards for every student, magnetic letters for literacy centers, and magnetic alphabet blending kits — have truly transformed the way I am able to teach my UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) lessons. These materials have made phonics instruction more effective, more engaging, and more accessible for all learners. Having the right tools at students' fingertips has made it much easier to deliver structured, explicit instruction while also allowing students to actively participate in their learning.\r\n\r\nThe mini dry erase boards have been especially impactful during our daily UFLI lessons. Every student now has their own board, which allows them to practice letter formation, phoneme-grapheme mapping, spelling patterns, and word building in real time. Instead of passively observing, students are actively responding, writing, and engaging with each part of the lesson. This has increased student accountability and confidence, as every child has the opportunity to show their thinking and receive immediate feedback. The boards also make it easy to correct mistakes, encourage risk-taking, and foster a positive learning environment where students feel safe to try.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic letters and magnetic alphabet blending kits have become a favorite part of our literacy centers. These hands-on materials allow students to physically manipulate letters as they practice blending sounds, building words, and applying phonics skills. This multisensory approach is especially beneficial for early readers and students who need additional support. Being able to see, touch, and move the letters helps solidify concepts that might otherwise feel abstract. I have already noticed improvements in students' ability to blend sounds more smoothly and recognize spelling patterns more quickly.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, these materials have significantly increased student engagement. My students are excited to use the tools each day and look forward to phonics time. The hands-on nature of the materials keeps them focused, motivated, and eager to participate. Learning feels fun, purposeful, and interactive, which has made a noticeable difference in classroom energy and enthusiasm. Students take pride in their work and feel empowered as readers as they experience success using these tools.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided physical materials but has also supported confidence, growth, and a love of learning in my classroom. You have helped create meaningful learning experiences that will benefit my students long beyond this school year. Thank you for believing in teachers, in students, and in the power of early literacy. My students and I are incredibly thankful for your support and for the positive impact you have made in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you again for funding my project and for making a difference in the lives of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1760392841711,"projectUrl":"project/phonics-tools/9823990/","projectTitle":"Phonics Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Golio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8435334_orig.jpg?crop=1920,1920,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760375330648","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8435334"},{"teacherId":10314183,"projectId":9833987,"letterContent":"Our kindergarten class would like to say thank you so much for the items you donated!
