Our students have already put to use the combs and a lot of them have also taken toothbrushes and toothpaste home with them. We know that sometimes they don't have the items at home, and this is great that we are able to provide it for them. \r\n\r\nSome of our older students have used the spray deodorant after gym and some of them have used it to \"be on the safe side\" as they called it. They discovered patterns and strategies using the game cards and increased their recall of basic facts. We gathered with other schools to host our first ever 24 Game tournament. Two of our students placed in the top 3 thanks to the access we had to the materials. Parents commented that they were so excited to have an activity that was not atheletic based to highlight the strengths of their students. We are embarking on our second year using the materials and the enrollment in our club has almost doubled!
