On behalf of the entire Cinema School community, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our school.\r\n\r\nI have attached pictures of our students playing the games we received. It has brought students from different grade levels together and has encouraged conversation and relationships. The games you donated are more than just tools for entertainment; they are vital resources that help foster teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills among our students. Some of our students learned how to play chess! For every school event, teachers and students ask to borrow the games.\r\n\r\nSeeing the smiles on our students' faces (especially the seniors as they are often too cool for school) has been wonderful. Your support helps us create a vibrant learning space.\r\n\r\nI also received items for my counseling office, and students frequently comment that it is calming and feels like a safe space. I thank you for that.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly fortunate to have supporters like you who understand the importance of educational enrichment and are willing to invest in our students' futures. Your kindness and commitment to our school are deeply appreciated.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your thoughtful donation. We look forward to sharing updates on the positive outcomes your support has generated within our school community.","fullyFundedDate":1726677436757,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-students-connect-with-one-anothe/8797985/","projectTitle":"Help My Students Connect With One Another","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Monforte","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9757009"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_97584","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":312,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":91,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":19,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":77,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.0,"schoolId":97584,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cinema School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Cinema School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/cinema-school/97584"}
