The clarinet reeds are used by all of my students to be able to play in class. Without a reed, they can't play, simple as that. Some of my students are able to purchase their own reeds, but many off them can't. Being able to provide reeds for them takes some of the pressure off of their parents.\r\n The second thing we got was our Blue Yeti microphone. This has changed the way they listen to themselves. I often record small sections of their rehearsals and play it back to them so that they can critique their own performances. This has changed the sound of my groups.
