One of my favorite things about our classroom is seeing the excitement on the children's faces when they discover something new in our sensory table. Their curiosity takes over, the questions begin, and they can't wait to explore! Whether they are scooping, sorting, searching for hidden letters and numbers, or experimenting with new materials, they are learning through hands-on experiences that make our classroom a special place to be.\r\n\r\nOur sensory table is used throughout the day during morning work and our small-group center rotations, providing meaningful opportunities to practice both ELA and math skills. Students work on letter recognition, letter sounds, name writing, counting, number recognition, sorting, patterns, and so much more. These activities also help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage problem-solving, and build confidence as children explore at their own pace. It is wonderful to see students working together, sharing ideas, and discovering new ways to approach a challenge while having fun!\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, we can continue creating engaging learning experiences that meet our students where they are and encourage them to grow. Every new addition to our sensory table brings fresh opportunities for exploration, discovery, and learning.
