Your belief in this initiative helped bring a dynamic, hands-on learning experience to life—one that's inspiring students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in exciting new ways.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, we were able to integrate real-world applications of physics, engineering, and sustainability into the classroom, sparking curiosity and innovation among the next generation of STEM leaders. For my 6th-grade special education students, technology is more than just a tool—it's a bridge to success. The iPad has provided them with access to assistive technology apps like WordQ+SpeakQ, which support their reading and writing development, these resources have allowed my students to work at their own pace.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of this technology is how it has fostered independence in my students. Many of them struggle with reading comprehension and written expression, but with the iPad, they can now use text-to-speech and speech-to-text features to participate more actively in class. I've seen students who were once hesitant to write now excitedly share their thoughts using assistive tools. One student, who previously struggled to stay engaged during lessons, now looks forward to using the iPad for reading practice and has shown improvement in fluency and comprehension.","fullyFundedDate":1726656547602,"projectUrl":"project/keeping-our-i-on-the-prize-empowering/8475940/","projectTitle":"Keeping our \"I\" on the Prize: Empowering Learners with iPads","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Grant","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8486466_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1653922259307","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8486466"},{"teacherId":6598351,"projectId":8823297,"letterContent":"Because of your donation to our project, our Daytime Book Club has become a safe haven and learning opportunity in our school library—a space where students from all walks of life come together to explore diverse stories and perspectives through the vibrant medium of graphic novels.
